The popularity of LCD TV is getting really high due to its stylish looks and at the same time, convenience that it gives because of how easy it is to find a spot for these really thin screens. While high definition TV is also breaking grounds, LCD sales are still good because of its price and it is the next best thing following the Hi-Def. Right now, the makers of this type of monitor have even tried numerous things so their product won’t get phased out.

Personally, I think we would still have the LCD monitors for a long time and the HDTV technology won’t be pulling away too far, especially with today’s economy where everything just seem to be so expensive. At this point, with all the raw materials still expensive, hi-def cannot afford to lower down their prices, which is of course a good news for the thin screens.
